Finishing up A and B from last week

Last week we finished learning about A and B.

We made Ants on a log for snack

started our alphabet book. These are Ants marching all the way up there to the airplane.

We also worked on B last week, SJ knew B allready so I didnt spend as much time on it.

We made a bumblebee out of a B

We also made our B page for our book.

Letters of the Week Summer School

Some friends of mine and I decided to put together a little summeralphabet learning fun for our 4 year olds.



We stared this week with A and B.

this was the 1st time he ever stayed in the lines.

I found this great website Totally Tots that has all these cute alphabet crafts we are going to do every letter and hang them in his room.




This afternoon we will be having applesauce for snack and using apples to paint with as well as reading a book about Apples.

Our Garden is Growing

Here are some pics of our garden from yesterday. Our squash is flowering which means a squash should follow soon. Yeah! Our Zinnias are getting ready to flower too.

I think romaine lettuce is the slowest growing thing ever but that will make it taste all that much better right?

My little photographer

My son is a photographer in training he loves to take pictures and does a pretty good job at it. Pretty much the only pictures of me and his dad are ones that he took.
He snapped these on our last family vacation at Disney world. We look so relaxed and happy!
did I mention we are going back?! I really need to finish up scrapping the last vacation before that one gets here!!

Trying to Catch up

I spent Friday and Saturday Scrapping away so I have quite a few new LO's to share. Here are some Halloween ones I finished.
Most of the PP I have been hording for years and years out of one of the 1st paper stacks I bought at Joannes.
The super cool halloween spiderweb stamps are Close to My Heart.

Mothers Day 2010

I hope all my fellow mommies had a great Mothers Day. Mine was spent at home a nice quiet day with my boys where SJ kept reminding daddy that mommy had the day off. What a good boy!

How does your garden grow?

We decided to start a little container farm here. I wanted to show SJ how vegtables and fruits grow so we went to the store and picked some seeds of our favorite foods.
The 1st 3 things we planted was Summer Squash, Romaine Lettuce and Zinnias. The Squash and Zinnias are thriving the romaine we only got 1 seed to sprout not sure where we went wrong.
We were feeling confident so we decided to plant some more things. Cucumbers, Zuccihni, watermelon, green beans, tomatos, and green peppers.
they have grown alot since this picture everything has sprouted. in about 2 months we should be eating our 1st homegrown veggies!! Did I mention how excited my 4 year old is to eat all these veggies he is growing?
