Over on http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/ they are having a great weekend festivites. And when i saw the mixed media altered canvas I knew i wanted to try it. I am NOT a painter and was scared but decided to give it a try anyway and this is the result. Not to bad for my 1st try right?

Well with the new year I decided that I needed to be more frugal. So I cut out all the coupons from the sunday paper and searched the internet for coupons and deals. I think I got some really good deals this week!

It feels good to save my family money while still enjoying the products we love!

I actually scrapped a couple of pages too. Nothing to great, I need to get my groove back!

Have done nothing lately

I really have not done much creating lately and when i do, I dont like it.
I have been on a weight loss adventure to date I have lost 22lbs but I feel my willpower going away. I am going on vacation the end of Feb and would like to be 20lbs lighter can i make my goal? I sure hope so.

Crafty Day

Today I was in a crafty mood but didnt feel like scrapbooking so I dug out this plain wood shelve i had forever so I painted it glued some primas and stamped the swirls and got a new shelve for my craft area. I love the way it turned out.

Then I noticed my cricut expression was dusty so i cleaned it off and decided it needed some clothes. LOL i have had this fabric for awhile just for this purpose. i made a few mistakes but hey 1st my 1st one! I am going to perfect them, look for them on at my etsy store soon!

Welcome to blogging

Well i have been enjoying other peoples blogs for a long time now so why not have my own? My name is Devon I am a WAHM to a crazy 2 1/2 year old, ok hes not really crazy just your average 2 year old. I love to scrapbook, make cards and altered items. I also sew but it is not my favorite craft. I wish i had more time to devote to my crafting but i will share what i do here.
